Launch Ceremony of the New Book "Transdermal Drug Delivery Nanotechnology"

On July 29, 2021, at the opening ceremony of the 7th Academic Conference of the Professional Committee on Percutaneous Drug Delivery of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, the debut ceremony of the academic monograph "Nanotechnology for Percutaneous Drug Delivery" was held. The book "Nanotechnology for transdermal drug delivery" was co edited by Professor Liu Wei from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Professor Feng Nianping from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in collaboration with experts and scholars with extensive experience in transdermal drug delivery and cosmetics research and development. The book systematically introduces the characteristics, preparation and quality evaluation of various transdermal drug delivery nanotechnology, the mechanism of promoting drug transdermal penetration, and its application progress in skin local effects, transdermal systemic effects, and functional cosmetics; Based on the forefront of pharmacy and interdisciplinary, this article introduces the latest achievements in the development of transdermal drug delivery. Through case studies, it demonstrates the combination of theory and practice in transdermal drug delivery nanotechnology.
