On July 25, 2020, Professor Liu Wei was invited to visit the Cosmetics Center of Hubei Provincial Institute of Drug Supervision and Inspection. In 2017, the Cosmetics Center of Hubei Provincial Institute of Drug Supervision and Inspection was approved by the State Food and Drug Administration as an administrative licensing inspection agency for cosmetics. Currently, it undertakes administrative licensing inspection work for the use of new raw materials in cosmetics, the production of domestic special-purpose cosmetics, and the first import of cosmetics, and has the qualification to issue administrative licensing inspection reports for cosmetics. Recently, the Cosmetics Center of Hubei Provincial Institute of Drug Supervision and Inspection and the National Nanodrug Engineering Technology Research Center jointly applied for the National Food and Drug Administration's Key Laboratory of Cosmetics Testing. The two sides have carried out close cooperation in the fields of cosmetics efficacy and safety evaluation, as well as new raw material application.
